Frauen und Jugendliche als AkteurInnen für den Frieden: Best Practice

Im Oktober 2010 reisten Mitglieder des Friedensnetzwerks OMNIBUS1325 aus dem Kaukasus und aus Deutschland nach Bosnien-Herzegowina.
Wir besuchten in Sanski Most, Bratunac/Srebrenica, Mostar und Sarajewo lokale Organisationen, die durch das Engagement von Frauen und Jugendlichen zum Wiederaufbau von menschlichen Beziehungen und zu Versöhnungsprozessen in den Gemeinden beitragen. Mit dieser Reise sollte der erste Schritt für einen längerfristigen Erfahrungsaustausch und geeignete Formen der Zusammenarbeit zwischen FriedensakteurInnen aus der Kaukasus- und Balkanregion und Deutschland unternommen werden. details »

ONE DAY WITH MY FRIENDS

In the framework of Peace Dialogue's 3 year strategy “See Who We Are, Choose Who We Want To Be” the photo-exhibition and concert dedicated to the international youth day were organized in Vanadzor on August 11.This was the culmination of the “One Day with My Friends” project. This project aimed to stimulate interest in peace building activism among the community youth through organization of activities designed to empower them for further activities in mobilizing their peers in the community. details »

“SEE WHO WE ARE, CHOOSE WHO WE WANT TO BE” WORKSHOP IN VANADZOR

“See Who We Are, Choose Who We Want To Be” workshop was held in Vanadzor YMCA (Armenia) on May 18th and was organized by Peace Dialogue NGO as the first step of its three year program of the same name. The workshop was facilitated by Marina Grasse from OWEN Berlin, with the support of Armine Zakaryan from Peace Dialogue NGO. During the workshop a space was created through a dialogical approach to discuss which kind of stereotypical images of male and female roles exist in Vanadzor’s society, how the participants perceive their own roles in society, what the roles are that society demands from them, and what the roles are that participants want for themselves. details »
